  BA Theatre Arts

Gerald Prosser is a college graduate of Juniata College with a BA in Theatre Arts and minor in Business Management (Dec 2009).  He is currently living and working in New York City. His goal is to constantly be working in the arts/nonprofit and enjoys being able to further the field and his craft from all angles, whether it be on stage or behind the scenes in development and marketing.

Gerald was last seen playing Peter Pan in Peter Pan in the Big Apple with Identity Theater Company.

Gerald made his Off-Broadway debut in A Night in Vegas as Swing for Ron/Josh at the Bleecker Street Theatre. He was then seen in A Midsummer Nights Dream  at the Actors Temple and Players Theatre  playing Snug and Puck  in the The Gayest Christmas Pageant Ever! at the Players Theatre.

He can also be seen numerous time on tv and web series. He also produced and starred in an online talk show where he appeared as his drag alter-ego Lola Cabana through egarage.tv

Most recently I spent my time as Director of Programming for an acting networking studio where I scheduled over a 100 classes a month taught by industry professionals (agents, managers, and casting directors), marketed every event through our website and via email marketing, and then oversaw a front of house team to ensure the classes ran smoothly. Past arts management related jobs include running a children’s theatre and serving as administrative assistant (Raton NM, 207), working for the artist presenting series at Juniata College (Jan 2007 to Dec 2008), and at the New End Theatre as Academy Assistant in London, UK, researching grants, costuming their children's production, and producing and distributed marketing materials for the summer academy (Spring 2009).

During the past three years in New York City, Gerald has also worked on behalf of over ten non-profits  where he built membership and personally raised over 75,000 dollars in small gift donations.
